birthday fete the third

TSP(s) came to appletree lane for an afternoon of birthday eating which consisted of Big Ed's BOMB DIGGITY BBq, a fantastico Bday cake seen below, followed by White Castle, consumed in the Dairy Queen parking lot. Which was not a coincidence, by any means of the word, but rather our last stop on the eating tour of Old Bridge, NJ. Desi enjoyed hanging out with her TSP(s) aunties and uncles, even though she sometimes was obtuse.

Desi n Jackson, sittin in a tree.

Desi met her first friend and my future son in law, Jackson, and had her first playdate! It was awesome to place our babies in the crib and watch them get really really angry. She put her finger up Jackie's nose, in his eye and punched him in the head. It was a great time! Desi was angryy and screaming bc i picked her up whilst she was sleeping.

This in turn pissed Jackson off and he got very very mad.

Then they both started crying like little babies.

They really laid the drama on thick.

After being fed 47 times between the two of them, Sam and I placed our future loves together.

We tried to make them hold hands.

Didnt work but they didnt seem to mind hanging. (Note: Des looks HUGE compared to Jackie, but he is actually longer than her!)

Too delicious for words these two.

Yummy. And so fat.

Ill take yours.

First Mommas Day..

My First Mothers Day! What a strange concept, that this day now applies to me too. Crazy. But awesome. We had early dinner at Marco Polo in Cobble Hill and it was delicious! And my girl looked absolutey GORGEOUS in her dress/hat combo courtesy of her grammie/mema/mama/mooma etc.
