big girl things...and bad girl trouble...

So Desi got her ears pierced...and on this day of days, we sat outside on the verandah and hung out. She was being just so incredibly delicious that I quickly went inside to get my camera. I sh*t you not, I come outside, and this is the sight I see. Desi Marie getting into trouble....for the 2nd time...for if you note in the bottom left corner of the following picture, you will see the after-effects of her attempt to wrestle with her Grammie's plant, which her mommy intervened to ensure she did NOT win....all of this was obviously, priceless.

first trip to the zoo!!

Ms. Binky Sweetheart had her first trip to the zoo last weekend with Great Aunt Grace and her cousins Chris and Izzie. Her favorite parts included both the misters that provided relief from the hot sun and the train ride. At a whopping 5 months she could really care less about the animals at this point, but at least she liked the misters and train. Listen, we take what we can get people.....lol.
