Desi's first day home!
Our Desi girl made her way over the Verrazanno (aka Pedisanno Breedge) for the first time on Friday February 25, (her due date!) in the beginnings of an annoyingly severe snowstorm! We were supposed to stay in the hospital for another night, but Dr. Arnouk didn't want us to get stuck in BK in the blizzard. 18 women were discharged that morning due to the snow, and me and my girl were the lucky ones to get out of there first! So off we were to Appletree Lane.....bc although my baby will live in NJ, I made sure that she was born in Brooklyn, like her mommy!
